功能	Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity.
總結(jié)	This gene encodes a fast-twitch skeletal muscle protein, amember of the troponin I gene family, and a component of thetroponin complex including troponin T, troponin C and troponin Isubunits. The troponin complex, along with tropomyosin, isresponsible for the calcium-dependent regulation of striated musclecontraction. Mouse studies show that this component is also presentin vascular smooth muscle and may play a role in regulation ofsmooth muscle function. In addition to muscle tissues, this proteinis found in corneal epithelium, cartilage where it is an inhibitorof angiogenesis to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis, and mammarygland where it functions as a co-activator of estrogenreceptor-related receptor alpha. This protein also suppresses tumorgrowth in human ovarian carcinoma. Mutations in this gene causemyopathy and distal arthrogryposis type 2B. Alternatively splicedtranscript variants have been found for this gene. [provided byRefSeq].
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

圖像	Western blot analysis of lysate from human skeletal muscle tissue lysate, using TNNI2 Antibody (N-term)(Cat. AMM08271G). AMM08271G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.
