功能	Transcriptional repressor, which probably repress transcription by binding directly the 5'-CTGTCAA-3' DNA sequence or by interacting with TGF-beta activated SMAD proteins. Probably represses transcription via the recruitment of histone deacetylase proteins.
總結(jié)	The protein encoded by this gene is a DNA-binding homeoboxprotein and a transcriptional repressor. The encoded proteinappears to repress transcription by recruiting histone deacetylasesto TGF beta-responsive genes. This gene is amplified andoverexpressed in some ovarian cancers, and mutations in this genecan cause holoprosencephaly.

Predicted band size : 26 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. TGIF2 Antibody (C-term) (Cat. APR04017G) flow cytometric analysis of Neuro-2a cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated donkey-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
