功能	Adds a myristoyl group to the N-terminal glycine residue of certain cellular and viral proteins.
總結	N-myristoyltransferase (NMT) catalyzes the reaction ofN-terminal myristoylation of many signaling proteins. It transfersmyristic acid from myristoyl coenzyme A to the amino group of aprotein's N-terminal glycine residue. Biochemical evidenceindicates the presence of several distinct NMTs, varying inapparent molecular weight and /or subcellular distribution. Thepredicted 498-amino acid of human NMT2 protein shares 77% and 96%sequence identity with human NMT1 and mouse Nmt2 comprise twodistinct families of N-myristoyltransferases.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
