功能	Responsible for the metabolism of many drugs and environmental chemicals that it oxidizes. It is involved in the metabolism of drugs such as antiarrhythmics, adrenoceptor antagonists, and tricyclic antidepressants.
總結(jié)	This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins aremonooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drugmetabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.This protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and is known tometabolize as many as 20% of commonly prescribed drugs. Itssubstrates include debrisoquine, an adrenergic-blocking drug;sparteine and propafenone, both anti-arrythmic drugs; andamitryptiline, an anti-depressant. The gene is highly polymorphicin the population; certain alleles result in the poor metabolizerphenotype, characterized by a decreased ability to metabolize theenzyme's substrates. The gene is located near two cytochrome P450pseudogenes on chromosome 22q13.1. Alternatively spliced transcriptvariants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
