功能	CGRP induces vasodilation. It dilates a variety of vessels including the coronary, cerebral and systemic vasculature. Its abundance in the CNS also points toward a neurotransmitter or neuromodulator role. It also elevates platelet cAMP.
總結(jié)	This gene encodes the peptide hormones calcitonin,calcitonin gene-related peptide and katacalcin by tissue-specificalternative RNA splicing of the gene transcripts and cleavage ofinactive precursor proteins. Calcitonin is involved in calciumregulation and acts to regulate phosphorus metabolism. Calcitoningene-related peptide functions as a vasodilator while katacalcin isa calcium-lowering peptide. Multiple transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms have been found for this gene.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
