總結(jié)	ABCD1 is a member of thesuperfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABCproteins transport various molecules across extra- andintra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinctsubfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). Thisprotein is a member of the ALD subfamily, which is involved inperoxisomal import of fatty acids and/or fatty acyl-CoAs in theorganelle. All known peroxisomal ABC transporters are halftransporters which require a partner half transporter molecule toform a functional homodimeric or heterodimeric transporter. Thisperoxisomal membrane protein is likely involved in the peroxisomaltransport or catabolism of very long chain fatty acids. Defects inthis gene have been identified as the underlying cause ofadrenoleukodystrophy, an X-chromosome recessively inheriteddemyelinating disorder of the nervous system.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

APG01427G) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human hepatocarcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the ABCD1 antibody (Center) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
