功能	Smooth muscle cells (SM) and cardiac muscle cells- specific transcriptional factor which uses the canonical single or multiple CArG boxes DNA sequence. Acts as a cofactor of serum response factor (SRF) with the potential to modulate SRF-target genes. Plays a crucial role in cardiogenesis and differentiation of the smooth muscle cell lineage (myogenesis). Isoform 1 mediates the cardiac transcription factor MEF2C-dependent transcription. Isoform 1 and isoform 3 are more active than isoform 2 and isoform 4 in stimulating cardiac muscle promoters.

儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

圖像	Anti-Myocd Antibody (Cterm) at 1:2000 dilution + C2C12 whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 101 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. Western blot analysis of lysate from mouse C2C12 cell line, using Myocd Antibody (C-term)(APR04747G). APR04747G was diluted at 1:1000. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 20ug.
