總結	This gene lies adjacent to the tumor suppressor geneCDKN2A in a region that is frequently mutated and deleted in a widevariety of tumors. This gene encodes a cyclin-dependent kinaseinhibitor, which forms a complex with CDK4 or CDK6, and preventsthe activation of the CDK kinases, thus the encoded proteinfunctions as a cell growth regulator that controls cell cycle G1progression. The expression of this gene was found to bedramatically induced by TGF beta, which suggested its role in theTGF beta induced growth inhibition. Two alternatively splicedtranscript variants of this gene, which encode distinct proteins,have been reported.

APR03720G). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the CDKN2B gene. CDKN2B Antibody (C-term) (Cat. APR03720G)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human lung tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of CDKN2B Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated. Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of CDKN2B Antibody (C-term)( APR03720G) with Hela cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).
