總結(jié)	The product of this gene belongs to thesyntaxin/epimorphin family of proteins. The syntaxins are a largeprotein family implicated in the targeting and fusion ofintracellular transport vesicles. The product of this generegulates epithelial-mesenchymal interactions and epithelial cellmorphogenesis and activation. Alternatively spliced transcriptvariants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
