功能	Preferentially catalyzes the dephosphorylation of 'Ser- 5' within the tandem 7 residue repeats in the C-terminal domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A. Negatively regulates RNA polymerase II transcription, possibly by controlling the transition from initiation/capping to processive transcript elongation. Recruited by REST to neuronal genes that contain RE-1 elements, leading to neuronal gene silencing in non-neuronal cells.

圖像	Western blot analysis of lysates from HepG2, Jurkat cell line, mouse liver tissue lysate (from left to right), using CTDSP1 Antibody (Center)( APR15594G). APR15594G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 20ug per lane.
