功能	Catalyzes the addition of fucose in alpha 1-6 linkage to the first GlcNAc residue, next to the peptide chains in N-glycans.
總結	This enzyme belongs to the family of fucosyltransferases.The product of this gene catalyzes the transfer of fucose fromGDP-fucose to N-linked type complex glycopeptides. This enzyme isdistinct from other fucosyltransferases which catalyze alpha1-2,alpha1-3, and alpha1-4 fucose addition. The expression of this genemay contribute to the malignancy of cancer cells and to theirinvasive and metastatic capabilities. Alternatively splicedvariants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Clinical relevance has not been evaluated. FUT8 Antibody (Center) (Cat. AMM04651G) western blot analysis in MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the FUT8 antibody detected the FUT8 protein (arrow). Western blot analysis of lysate from Hela cell line, using FUT8 Antibody (Center)( AMM04651G). AMM04651G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug.
