功能	Mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Channels open or close in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, letting potassium ions pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.
總結(jié)	Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the mostcomplex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functionaland structural standpoints. Their diverse functions includeregulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion,neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smoothmuscle contraction, and cell volume. Four sequence-relatedpotassium channel genes - shaker, shaw, shab, and shal - have beenidentified in Drosophila, and each has been shown to have humanhomolog(s). This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel,voltage-gated, shab-related subfamily. This member is a delayedrectifier potassium channel. The gene is expressed ingastrointestinal smooth muscle cells.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
