功能	Catalyzes the methylation of glycine by using S- adenosylmethionine (AdoMet) to form N-methylglycine (sarcosine) with the concomitant production of S-adenosylhomocysteine (AdoHcy). Possible crucial role in the regulation of tissue concentration of AdoMet and of metabolism of methionine.
總結(jié)	The protein encoded by this gene is an enzyme thatcatalyzes the conversion of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (along withglycine) to S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and sarcosine. The encodedprotein is found in the cytoplasm and acts as a homotetramer.Defects in this gene are a cause of GNMT deficiency(hypermethioninemia).
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
