功能	Catalyzes the production of spermidine from putrescine and decarboxylated S-adenosylmethionine (dcSAM). Has a strong preference for putrescine as substrate, and has very low activity towards 1,3-diaminopropane. Has extremely low activity towards spermidine.

Spermidine synthase is one of four enzymes in thepolyamine-biosynthetic pathway and carries out the final step ofspermidine biosynthesis. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion ofputrescine to spermidine using decarboxylated S-adenosylmethionineas the cofactor.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
