功能	The glycine receptor is a neurotransmitter-gated ion channel. Binding of glycine to its receptor increases the chloride conductance and thus produces hyperpolarization (inhibition of neuronal firing).
總結(jié)	This gene encodes the beta subunit of the glycinereceptor, which is a pentamer composed of alpha and beta subunits.The receptor functions as a neurotransmitter-gated ion channel,which produces hyperpolarization via increased chloride conductancedue to the binding of glycine to the receptor. Mutations in thisgene cause startle disease, also known as hereditary hyperekplexiaor congenital stiff-person syndrome, a disease characterized bymuscular rigidity. Alternative splicing results in multipletranscript variants.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

圖像	Western blot analysis of lysate from Jurkat cell line, using GLRB Antibody (N-term)(Cat. APR12037G). APR12037G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.
