總結(jié)	This gene encodes a secreted, homodimeric glycoproteinthat is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and may haveautocrine or paracrine functions. The gene contains a 5' UTR richin CAG trinucleotide repeats. The encoded protein contains 11conserved cysteine residues and is phosphorylated by protein kinaseC exclusively on its serine residues. The protein may play a rolein the regulation of renal and intestinal calcium and phosphatetransport, cell metabolism, or cellular calcium/phosphatehomeostasis. Overexpression of human stanniocalcin 1 in miceproduces high serum phosphate levels, dwarfism, and increasedmetabolic rate. This gene has altered expression in hepatocellular,ovarian, and breast cancers.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
