總結(jié)	The protein encoded by this gene is a member of thesomatotropin/prolactin family of hormones which play an importantrole in growth control. The gene, along with four other relatedgenes, is located at the growth hormone locus on chromosome 17where they are interspersed in the same transcriptionalorientation; an arrangement which is thought to have evolved by aseries of gene duplications. Although the five genes share aremarkably high degree of sequence identity, they are expressedselectively in different tissues. This particular family member isexpressed in placental villi, although it was originally thought tobe a pseudogene. In fact, alternative splicing suggests that themajority of the transcripts would be unable to express a secretedprotein. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms have been identified.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

圖像	Western blot analysis of lysate from human placenta tissue lysate, using CSHL1 Antibody (C-term)(Cat. APR15612G). APR15612G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane. CSHL1 Antibody (C-term) (Cat. AP13044a)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human placenta tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of CSHL1 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
