功能	Part of the MIS12 complex, which is required for kinetochore formation and spindle checkpoint activity. Required to target ZW10 to the kinetochore at prometaphase.
總結(jié)	ZWINT is clearly involved in kinetochore function although an exact role is not known. It interacts with ZW10, another kinetochore protein, possibly regulating the association between ZW10 and kinetochores. The protein localizes to prophase kinetochores before ZW10 does and it remains detectable on the kinetochore until late anaphase. It has a uniform distribution in the cytoplasm of interphase cells.

圖像	Anti-ZWINT Antibody (Center) at 1:1000 dilution + MOLT-4 whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 31 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. Western blot analysis of ZWINT antibody (Center) (Cat. APR05784G) in mouse cerebellum tissue lysates (35ug/lane). ZWINT (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with ZWINT Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
