Promotes ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of TRAF family members and RHOA.
總結(jié)	SMURF1 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. This protein interacts with receptor-regulated SMADs specific for the BMP pathway, SMAD1 and SMAD5, in order to trigger their ubiquitination and degradation and thereby their inactivation.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

圖像	The anti-SMURF1 Pab (Cat. APR04766G) is used in Western blot to detect SMURF1 in HL-60 cell lysate. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.
