功能	Myosin regulatory subunit that plays an important role in regulation of both smooth muscle and nonmuscle cell contractile activity via its phosphorylation. Implicated in cytokinesis, receptor capping, and cell locomotion.
總結(jié)	Myosin, a structural component of muscle, consists of twoheavy chains and four light chains. The protein encoded by thisgene is a myosin light chain that may regulate muscle contractionby modulating the ATPase activity of myosin heads. The encodedprotein binds calcium and is activated by myosin light chainkinase. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms havebeen found for this gene.
儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
