功能	Regulates a signal transduction pathway linking plasma membrane receptors to the assembly of focal adhesions and actin stress fibers. Serves as a microtubule-dependent signal that is required for the myosin contractile ring formation during cell cycle cytokinesis. Regulates apical junction formation in bronchial epithelial cells.
總結(jié)	This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of smallGTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and activeGTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signaltransduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of theactin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, andmotility. The protein encoded by this gene is prenylated at itsC-terminus, and localizes to the cytoplasm and plasma membrane. Itis thought to be important in cell locomotion. Overexpression ofthis gene is associated with tumor cell proliferation andmetastasis. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding thesame protein, have been identified.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
