功能	Class-IV neuronal intermediate filament that is able to self-assemble. It is involved in the morphogenesis of neurons. It may form an independent structural network without the involvement of other neurofilaments or it may cooperate with NF-L to form the filamentous backbone to which NF-M and NF-H attach to form the cross-bridges.
總結(jié)	Neurofilaments (NF) are cytoplasmic intermediate filaments (IFs) found in neurons. NF-66, also known as α-internexin, is a member of the IF family. Classified as a type IV IF, NF-66 is expressed by most neurons and has been shown to co-assemble with other NF triple proteins (light, medium and heavy NF) (1-2). In the adult brain, NF-66 is expressed at relatively low levels compared to the other NF proteins (3). NF-66 has also been shown to assemble into 10mm diameter IF in vitro.
形式	50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% sodium azide and 0.05% BSA.
儲(chǔ)存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
