總結(jié)	The neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM/CD56) has been shown to mediate homophilic cell-cell adhesion in the neuroendocrine system with interactions among immunoglobulin-like domains. It is a multifunction transmembrane protein involved in synaptic plasticity, neurodevelopment, and neurogenesis. NCAM appears on early embryonic cells and is important in the formation of cell collectives and their boundaries at sites of morphogenesis (1-3). It is preferentially expressed on human NK cells and a subset of T lymphocytes that mediate MHC-unrestricted cell-mediated cytotoxicity (1). Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the NCAM gene are reported to be significantly associated with bipolar disorder in the Japanese population (3).
形式	50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% sodium azide and 0.05% BSA.
儲存條件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
