獨(dú)腳金內(nèi)酯（strigolactone,SL）最初是從分析玉米根系中植物分泌的一種刺激惡性寄生雜草獨(dú)角金種子萌發(fā)的信號(hào)物質(zhì)時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)的倍半萜類化合物，因此被稱為獨(dú)腳金內(nèi)酯。后來(lái)被證明是一種植物中普遍存在的新型植物激素，具有多種生理功能。獨(dú)腳金內(nèi)酯具有刺激寄生植物種子萌發(fā)、直接或間接抑制植物側(cè)芽萌發(fā)產(chǎn)生分枝和促進(jìn)叢枝菌根真菌菌絲與寄主植物共生等諸多作用。

StrigoLab is a spin-off of Turin University (Italy) , Born in 2013 thanks to the collaboration between the Dept. of Chemistry and the Dept. of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Science (DISAFA) of Turin University (Italy).
